Terms of Service

Kobra sells a license to use its component source in your own software. You are not buying the software itself, a subscription, or any transfer of ownership. The library stays ours; what you get is a permanent right to use it under these terms.

Browsing the gallery is free and always will be, as are the components the site lists under Free. Everything else requires a license.

A license covers a fixed number of seats. One seat is one person. If four people at your company will read, copy or edit the source, you need four seats, whether or not they work on the same product.

Seats are handed out as codes. A code can be redeemed once, and the person who redeems it holds that seat until you reassign it. You may move a seat to a new person when somebody leaves; you may not share one between people who are both still using it.

• Use the components in unlimited projects, personal or commercial.
• Modify the source however you like, including beyond recognition.
• Ship them in software you sell, host or give away.
• Ship them in work you build for clients, provided the seats are held by you.

• Redistribute the source, in whole or in part, as a component library, template, starter kit, course, or anything else whose value is the components themselves.
• Publish it anywhere it can be obtained without a license, including public repositories, package registries and file shares.
• Use it to train a model, or feed it to a service that does.
• Share seat codes outside the people your license covers.

The line is straightforward: build things with it, do not hand it on. If you are unsure which side of that a plan falls on, ask before you build it.

Licenses are sold for a single payment, in US dollars, plus any tax your jurisdiction adds. There is no renewal and no recurring charge. Payment is taken by Stripe; we never see or hold your card details.

Updates to the library are included for as long as it is maintained. We do not promise a release schedule, and a license does not entitle you to any particular future component.

Because a license gives you the source immediately, a purchase cannot be undone in the usual sense. If something is genuinely wrong, write to us within 14 days of buying and we will sort it out. Refund requests after that, or from accounts that have downloaded the library, are at our discretion.

Support is by email. We aim to reply within the window shown on the pricing page for your plan, on working days. Support covers the components as shipped: bugs, defects and questions about intended use. It does not cover your application, your build setup, or changes you have made to the source.

We may revoke a license for a serious breach of these terms, chiefly redistribution. Where the breach can be undone, we will ask first. Revocation does not require us to refund the purchase, and it does not oblige you to remove components already shipped in software your own customers are running.

The library is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it is free of defects, that it fits any particular purpose, or that it will keep working with future versions of React, your framework, or your browser targets.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for anything arising out of these terms is limited to what you paid us. We are not liable for lost profit, lost data, or any indirect or consequential loss.

We may update these terms. The version in force for you is the one published when you bought, unless a change is needed by law. Material changes will be noted by the date at the top of this page.
